Youth Business Fair

Youth Business Fair Press Express

The Greater Naples Chamber’s Youth Business Fair (formerly known as the Naples Children’s Business Fair) offers the opportunity for young entrepreneurs, grades K-12, to showcase and sell their product or service to the public. Working with the Chamber, children will learn free-market principles, how the workforce drives the local economy and relish in the rewards of their hard work. Proceeds benefit the Leadership Collier Foundation in support of work-based learning programs for local students.

The Greater Naples Chamber’s Youth Business Fair grants kids the opportunity to create a product, business model, marketing strategy and then sell that product to the public in a safe environment. This year features a pitch event to allow high school students to pitch their business ideas to leaders in the community to have the chance to win prizes in various categories.

This fair is part of the Acton Children’s Business Fair model which was originally developed by the Acton Academy Schools and Acton MBA Program, organizations that believe in the power of work and entrepreneurship to improve self-esteem and strong communities. After several successful fairs in Texas, they chose to give the opportunity to others across the country. Now Acton Children’s Business Fairs are active or planned in 25 different cities across the country (and one in Guatemala). Click here to learn more about the Children’s Business Fair.
