Ignite: A Day of Skill-Building and Connection for Girls Ages 11-14

On January 13, female youth, ages 11 to 14 years, may register for and attend a day of focused skill-building and personal connection. Topics include how to cope with emotions and the challenges that arise in day-to-day life. Registration is required by no later than January 10, and space is limited. Over the course of the day, participants will have guided conversations and experiences about how to:

“Ignite Your Mind” by Prioritizing Mental Wellness

“Ignite Your Spirit” through Yoga and Meditation

“Ignite Your Soul” through Musical Expression

“Ignite Your Words” through Journaling and Reflection

“Ignite Your Connections” through Social Skills and Bonding

“Ignite Your Power” through Self-esteem and Confidence Building

The event will be held on January 13, 2023 at the Golden Gate Community Center. Presenting partners include the David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Avow Kids, Wellfit Girls, Purpose Journey, The Shelter for Abused Women and Children, the Alliance for Period Supplies, Project HELP, and Collier CARES. Future Ready Collier supports its network members who are partners in presenting this important event.
